Congratulations to all our athletes
who performed so well last Saturday at the Western Region U13 to Senior Track
& Field Championships.

Top of the pile was our gold medal
winners Clive Glancy, Ellis Conway, Toyosi Fagbo, Callum Whelan and the U17
Girls relay team of Clodagh Sheerin, Kasey Bruen, Anna Corcoran and Shauna
McCabe.
Fiachra O’Dowd, Callum Whelan,
Brian Finn, Oliver Charles and the U15 boys relay team of Oliver, Oisin
Kearney, Daniel Bosquette & Jim Cullen all won silver medals while Emma
O’Connell, Sophie McCabe, Caitlin Surlis and the Boys U13 relay team of Patrick
Charles, Gerard Murtagh, Emmet Regan & Toyosi all won bronze.
It was great to see Clive Glancy
perform so well at what must have been his first Connacht Track championships
in over 15 years, a great front running display as Clive, normally busting out
the miles on the road, sharpens up his speed for the longer distances.
Many thanks to officials Mary
O’Donnell, John Connolly and Siobhan Whelan who spent the day working on the
track and to Diane Charles, Jenny McCabe, Mary Finn, Karen & Andrew Brennan
for looking after the athletes all day.
